Before & After School
Our school provides supervision for students before school from 8.15am. Students should not arrive at school before this time.
Between 8.15-8.30am, Year 1-6 students should go to the library. Kindy and Pre-Primary students should wait with a parent/carer outside their PP classrooms near the P&C Hall until the siren sounds.
To support student safety, students are not permitted in the playground before school.
The school day ends at 3.05pm. Students should be collected or exit the school promptly. Families are welcome to stay on the school grounds after school, however parents/carers must be providing direct supervision of their child.
Thank you for your support.
Uniform Lost and Found
With the change in weather this week, our collection of un-named uniforms has grown exponentially. We currently have over 20 items of clothing and a collection of lunchboxes in the trolley, located on the verandah near Moodgar (Room 7).
Please reclaim any lost items as soon as possible. We also ask that parents/carers clearly label your new and used uniforms with your child’s name.
Un-named and unclaimed items will be donated to the Uniform Shop each Friday.
Premier’s Reading Challenge
The Premier’s Reading Challenge is a literacy engagement program which aims to encourage students to read more books for enjoyment, and to improve literacy levels.
Reading helps children make sense of the world around them. It builds curiosity, enhances their imagination, and is a wonderful source of entertainment. By making time each day to either read with your child, or by encouraging them to read, parents/carers are making a difference to their child’s literacy.
The challenge is to read and log twelve (12) or more books before Friday 27 June. Each week, students who log their reading will automatically go in the draw to win a prize.
Our school encourages all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 to participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. You can help your child sign-up, or update their details, via the website – www.premiersreadingchallenge.wa.edu.au.
