Celebrating Learning
Our first group of Year 6 students started the YouthCare GRIT program this week, run by our Term 2 Chaplain, Andrew Findlay.
This four-week program is designed to foster Growth, Resilience, Insight, and Tenacity, providing students with a supportive environment where they can develop emotional regulation skills, build positive relationships, and strengthen their ability to overcome challenges. Through group sessions and hands-on activities, students were encouraged to reflect on personal goals and develop tools for long-term success both in and out of the classroom.
As well as supporting the Year 6 Health curriculum, this program supports our school’s commitment to strengthening our approach to addressing the physical, social and emotional needs of students (Strategic Pathway 2: Inclusive & Engaging Learning Environment).

To celebrate Mother's Day, the early childhood classes hosted a special MAGIC morning or afternoon for the Mothers, Aunties, Grandmothers, and Important Carers. Families enjoyed activities like painting, making fairy bread, and creating macaroni necklaces – a lovely way to honour the wonderful women in our children’s lives.
