Speak With Confidence
Our school’s Speak with Confidence competition was held this morning. Representatives from each of our Years 4-6 classes delivered interesting and engaging speeches on a range of topics. Topics chosen by students included ADHD, Kindness, Frozen Yoghurt, and Australian Slang.
Congratulations to all our finalists.

The winner of the Year 5/6 division was Harry P for his speech “The Power of No”. The runner-up award went to Bridget M with her speech “Hey, True Blue!”
Harry and Bridget will represent our school at the City of South Perth Speak with Confidence Finals in Week 9. We know the school community will join us in wishing them the very best for this event.

Healthy Lunch Box – Room 4
This Wednesday, Room 4 had the exciting opportunity to be the very first class to use the brand-new kitchen facilities in the Studio. Working in groups, students designed a healthy lunchbox, chose their favourite options, wrote shopping lists, and finally brought their delicious creations to life.
There was plenty of laughter and learning as students proudly prepared their meals. For some, it was even their first time cutting an onion! Thanks to our new safety knives and peelers, students were able to get hands-on with the cooking in a safe and independent way. We can’t wait to see what else is whipped up in this fantastic new space!
