Celebrating Learning
At Como Primary School, we value the opportunities incursions and excursions provide in extending and enriching classroom learning. These experiences connect students with the wider community, offering hands-on and engaging ways to deepen their understanding.
In the last fortnight, our Pre-Primary and Year One students enjoyed a visit to the Constable Care Safety School, where they learned essential road and bike safety skills through fun, hands-on activities. They practised helmet-fitting, bike checks, road crossing, responding to emergency sounds, and seatbelt use – gaining valuable safety awareness.

Our Year 5 and 6 students took part in a Life Education incursion, exploring important topics around health, wellbeing, and making safe choices.
In addition, students across Pre-Primary to Year 6 were inspired yesterday during the Book Week Author Visits, sparking creativity and a love of story-telling. Thank you to South Perth Library for partnering with the school in this opportunity.
