Student Leadership Opportunities 2026
On Monday, Year 4 and 5 students will bring home an information sheet about student leadership opportunities for 2026. Elections for 2026 Prefects will be held on Wednesday, October 30, with House Captain elections taking place the following morning, after Speech Night.
Open Classrooms Reminder
Our classrooms will be open on Monday from 3:10pm – 4:15pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to proudly share and explain the work they have been doing in class this term with their parents and family members.
Please note:
- Students must remain with their parents/carers for the entire visit.
- If you are unable to attend, your child/ren will go home at 3:05pm as per a regular school day.
We look forward to seeing many families join us for this special afternoon!

Market Day – Wednesday 24 September!
On Wednesday 24 September, our Year 6 students will be running their much-anticipated Markets Day!
Students have been busy creating fun stalls full of games, activities and treats for everyone to enjoy. Prices will vary, so please bring along a mix of gold coins and 50c pieces to join in the fun.
Students may also wear free dress on the day with a gold coin donation, with all funds raised going to the Prefects’ chosen charity – All Stars for Autism.
It’s always a fantastic afternoon of fun, creativity and community spirit. We look forward to seeing our students get behind this great cause!
Annual Book Fair
Thank you to the Como Community for your support of our annual Book Fair. We had a wonderful response and I am glad to say that as a result of the sales, we are able to purchase many new books for the school library.
Thanks once again!
