Thank you so much to everyone for sending the kids to school with some extra cash for window sales. Cash sales at the window is such a great opportunity for the children to practice their manners and their math. Just an extra dollar or two gives them the chance to buy items like muffins, hash browns, cheesie buns, mini sushi bowls, chicken legs and other special items. We always endeavour to have a selection on offer ranging from 50c to maximum $1.50, so there is something available for every budget.

Just a recap for new parents: the canteen is open for recess and lunch on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Orders must be done online through Spriggy Schools, and cut-off time is 8.15am in the mornings. Spriggy also has an app that you can download on your phone to make ordering even easier.

Just a reminder again to change your child’s classroom numbers to the new one for this year on your profile, we are still having a lot of children who can’t find their orders because they went into last year’s basket.

We are very proud of the fact that we have many food options on our menu that is full of hidden vegetables, that we prepare the bulk of our menu items from scratch and that we offer a wide variety of foods which enables the parents to be in the driver's seat and choose what they allow their children to eat. Some menu items might need a rethink from our side to ensure that it is the best option both health wise, budget wise and time wise for us, but nothing will change right away.

Roster

We rely heavily on volunteers to help us out in the canteen. It is a great way to get involved in our amazing community and it gives you a chance to have a chat and meet new people.  We will make you work hard, but it is all easy jobs like cutting up fruit, making sandwiches, selling items at recess and lunch etc.To say thank you, we offer you a free lunch for your child, so that’s one less lunchbox for you to pack! Please remember to wear enclosed shoes when you come in, long hair must be tied up and always sign in at the front office.
