Dance-a-Thon
Thank you to all families who have already returned the sponsorship money promised for the Dance-a-Thon that was held yesterday. The draw to win $200 cash will be held at next Friday’s assembly. Any student who raises $20 or more is eligible for this draw, however, money is due back by next Thursday, July 3rd. All proceeds will fund picnic tables and seating near the Adventure Playground!
Semester 1 Student Reports
Semester 1 Reports have been distributed to parents through Connect this afternoon – Thursday 26 June. We encourage you to review the report with your child.
In these reports, teachers provide a professional judgement regarding the level of achievement demonstrated by each student. Judgements are made against achievement standards outlined in Western Australian Curriculum, considering the curriculum taught and assessed during the semester. Grades in Semester 1 reports demonstrate achievement at this point in time. Information on the WA Curriculum, and the Achievement Standards is available here.
In addition to learning area grades, teachers will provide a general comment covering your child’s engagement in learning, areas of strength/growth, and on your child’s social/emotional progress and development. Please be aware that it is not possible to comment on all outcomes – teachers will focus on the aspects of learning which are most important.
Parents who wish to discuss their child’s report are welcome to make an appointment to meet with the class teacher in Term 3. Translators can be engaged to support Parent/Teacher meetings if required.
Should you have difficulties accessing your child’s report, please contact the Administration Office.
